It was my great great grandmother's. She was born in 1850. I have no idea how old it is. It was long, with many many beads and a sort of medallion and a tassel of smaller beads. I want to give it to a descendant, and am wondering the likely cost of having it strung. I have NO idea.
Thanks in advance!

I did know about the knotting between each bead, and so on. But it's an interesting project.

I dont know where you live, but do you have a bead shop near you? They would have access to Bead Society (yeah, there really is such a thing) members. Beaders can do some mad crazy stuff.
