Conversation with grandson:
Me, commenting on his Christmas present: Does this mean you are going to be on your xbox the rest of your life?
Grandson: What?
Me: Does this mean you are going to be on your xbox the rest of your life?
Grandson: What?
Me: Does this mean you are going to be on your xbox the rest of your life?
Grandson, laughing: I can't hear you. I have these earbuds in.

Fortunately I didn't have such a conversation with my 7 year old grandson; 'instead,' he explained to me how to use a remote for his small, table-top tank, so I wouldn't make it damage anything. I didn't, and my daughter is impressed by my 'skills!' 
It sat for a long time, and one day when I was there, I figured out how to launch it. Right into the lamp hanging over the table
