I LOVE that ad with the old guy opening a garage with what looks like a muscle car of the 60s. In

the background, a guitar is playing a rather sad "My Way." With the economy of words, we see the car being retrofitted and his grown kids saying "Merry Christmas, Dad" as he drives the car away.

I always get choked up.

and the daughter saw him crying in the garage so enlisted help to refurb the car as a Christmas gift to him. I get choked up every time I see it. Good stuff.

and a kid saying Merry Christmas to her father. A blue muscle car being redone. It was on the BBC's Dr. Who-a-thon moments ago.

There are entirely too many memories, too much blood, sweat, and tears invested.
