Humming Could Help Fend Off Illness and Ease Stress

shape.com

If you hum while you read this, your body could experience beneficial side effects from the vibrations. For one, the resulting oscillation as you exhale helps circulate healthy nitric-rich air within the nasal sinuses, which creates a better environment to help protect against pathogens.

I got a few hot flashes for a couple of years. I got a bad one while driving once, so I turned up the radio and started singing…loud.

I don’t know if it eased my symptoms, or just distracted me, but it really seemed to calm the situation. A couple times, when around others, I hummed softly to myself. Same result.

Funny to see it in print.

I put them up there with whistlers in the category of people I want to kill.

Instead of just asking them to please stop, you would execute them. And you would have a legal defense already set up...?

singing, probably humming, and even shouting moves the cerebral fluids around, and probably helps to flush out toxins.
