In my case, Wisconsin, which is legendary for lousy winters.

Just now, I looked and it's 12 degrees and windy outside.

A good friend of mine lives in Southern Georgia, and yesterday's high was 80! 80? In January?
Yup.

the smaller my 'comfort zone' gets,,,, I call myself a 70s gal,,,, I just want that temperature gauge to reach or pass thru the 70s at some point in a 24 hour period,,,, I'm in Arizona, I like the Spring and the Fall ~ I complain in the SummerTime too.

And I got to admit we don’t have such brutal winters. But I am tired of it at age 72. My birthday is toward the end of February that’s usually when I think of the new year starting. I have a theory that you’re not very comfortable at any temperature that is below your age Fahrenheit of course

This might not be the only cold and snowy weeks we get and that's fine with me. I'd rather be walking in shorts. If it does get really cold again though, I should be healed up and out there.

They are NOT as bad as a few decades ago. But the older I get the less tolerant I get. So to try to cope I just ordered a wearable sleeping bag. It might get me sitting out by the fire pit a bit mire often, and even doing some gardening and landscaping earlier than I would otherwise tolerate.

kid. Have fond memories from college days of a very snowy afternoon helping friends push cars out of drifts in between breaks for mulled wine at a bar with a fireplace. Snow was my friend.

Ice wasn't, and between whiplash from an accident when the car behind me didn't brake in time, and a back injury from a bad fall on black ice, I stopped loving winter.
