Please. Crime drama with some great acting.

Its protagonist has an alcohol addiction problem, much like Nurse Jackie. In fact, they share the same first name. What a coinky-dinky. Jackie from Highpoint has the desire to go from harbor patrol to becoming a full-fledged member of the police force. It's a chance that becomes the basis for Season 2. But, she doesn't handle disappointment well, and finds herself resorting to liquor and pills when things don't go her way. Fortunately, she has friends helping her get back on her feet. Though some are also bad influences.

The setting is the Cape, so pills and liquor seem to be in abundance.

Hoping they get enough interest for a Season 3.

Mentioning harbor patrol reminded me of how Jimmy McNulty was demoted after season 1 of "The Wire" -- leading to the theme for season 2.

You begin to understand why she's struggling when you meet her father in Season 2.
