The beauty and majesty of Mt Baker is in it's hard tenacious granite bones.
It is strength unbowing before the fickle winds of time.
Covered in cold ice and snow, the trees sway and creak and some fall, only to be replaced by a new generation fighting to live.
The beauty is in its strength.

Nevadas are dormant or active volcanoes. I remember Mt. St. Helens. (The two mountain ranges are actually the same geographic structure but are known by the two different names thanks to us people.)
