But in reality, (being a Golden owner), the dog was just bored and looking for attention and a playmate...........

The Golden Retriever is the absolute best dog parents can have for their kids. They are loving and caring and protective.

But that having been said, they continuously shed a TON!!!!! (Our cleaning people tell us they won't take on a home that has a golden living there)

AND, they need routine shampooing or they become really "stanky" ......... in my experience.
