I'm just back from NW Arkansas for the birth of two granddaughters - identical twins.
One is in the NICU (strangely, the larger of the two) but expected to be released soon. The older brother's third birthday is next week. I'm driving back tomorrow after fighting some fires at the office.
Look out world. There are two more little Slicks.

I can see them both arguing a case in front of the Supreme Court now.

(11,100 posts)I suspect the girls will have their own opinions in the matter.
Thanks.

CONGRATULATIONS x2!!

(175,742 posts)The biggest triplet spent some time in the NICU as well. The doctors said that he was stressed from the overcrowding. That might be what's going on with your granddaughters. And they're identical!
TomSlick
(11,100 posts)I'm trying to follow their example.
I've not been around a lot of twins, much less identicals. This should be fun.
greatauntoftriplets
(175,742 posts)LOL, my other niece has twin girls. They're fraternal, as are the triplets. As a result, I've never dealt with identicals. They're interesting enough in their own right. Lots of fun, too.

PatSeg
(47,501 posts)is that they wake up every morning knowing they have their best friend to play with. What is really fascinating is that in spite of their many similarities and identical upbringing, they are very distinct individuals. When they combine their energies, they are quite a force of nature! Never a dull moment.
