I'm pretty sure what ever I have is NOT Covid Omicron

I'm still running a temp (98.1 as opposed to my usual high 96/low 97s) and have a little nasal congestion but other than that, I'm feeling pretty good. I actually had a really good night's sleep and was even able to fall back to sleep after I fed the boys. Best of all, they are being absolute angels, this morning.

So, I'll see how things are, tomorrow. I do have to buy more dry food for the ferals but that can wait for a day or so. I noticed that the road commission has ignored our street and it looks like a sheet of ice, this morning, so I'd not be venturing out, anyway.

Time for a cup of tea with honey and lemon.

Was in the ER for a knee issue last Tuesday, been congested since Thursday. Temperature hasn't gotten higher than 97, and I don't feel that sick. I initially thought mild Omicron, but the desriptions of "mild" are far worse than I have felt. No testing to be found, but I'm basically a shut-in anyhow.

I didn't even try to find a test, because of the shortages. It's just so confusing because, for most vaccinated, the symptoms of Omicron are almost identical to those of a cold or allergies!! I haven't had any body aches, fatigue or night sweats, so if I've got it, it's a pretty mild case.

My biggest concern with staying home is, with this cold weather, leaving my car sitting for long periods of time. It's in the garage, but I still think I'll open the garage and start the car up, today. It's going to be above freezing, for the last time for at least a week.

My Amazon cat food is on back order so cat food is the only thing I have to go out for. This is gonna be a long winter.

So far, we've hardly had any snow. That makes me really want to stock up on necessities, just in case we get clobbered, later in the season.

Reported that she was sick earlier last week. When I spoke to her a couple days ago she said she had covid, even though vaxxed and was a day out from getting the booster when she contracted it from the only other person in the house who was also sick. They both had rather mild symptoms, no fever but serious body ache along with upper respiratory funk. Said IB and over the counter cold remedies were her friend and that it all was over after about 30 hours, the other person had milder symptoms than that over a shorter time.

Hope you feel better soon.

Been 9 days and feel much better now. Still a little tired.

I see Meijers is having a limited free delivery special. I don't know the details.

dinner tomorrow at a steakhouse with some relatives I haven't seen for a while. I haven't bothered to get tested, but have been staying isolated and taking lots of extra vitamin C. Will probably just order groceries later this week if I'm still under the weather then.

The school system where he works has gone remote learning, for the week, so he's willingly available.

Last night my temp was down in the 97s so who knows what's going on. I just know my energy level is normal and other than sneezing and a little nasal congestion, I feel fine. In fact, after such a restful night, I feel a little better than fine.

I'm going to take a nice, long, lavender intense soak in the tub, this afternoon. Meanwhile, I see some Kitcats that need a snuggle. They might not realize it, but I do.

Usually right around 96.7. So if I'm over 98 I figure it qualifies as an elevated temp.

I think the 100 range is based on the average of 98.6 but some of us just run lower.
