Just finished binge watching Yellowstone. DAMN. *Potential spoilers*

2. Yes but it is very pre. 1883.

You have to have a tolerance for sex and violence because there’s plenty, but it’s in the service of quite a complicated story line. Cowboys and Indians meets Shakespearean royalty drama.

And gorgeous countryside.

3. Season 4 was a disappointment.

The first 3 seasons were excellent.

Season 4 had a lot of lazy writing and ridiculous storylines. As for Beth, she not only turned into a full blown psychopath, she turned into a campy caricature.

Season 4 was such a turn off. I doubt I’ll have any interest in season 5.

4. I am fascinated by the badass women.

Yeah, Beth’s a therapist’s nightmare. But Jimmys development made me cheer, and I like the women being in the power dynamic. You have to suspend some disbelief but I’ll give them that.

I kept wondering what’s going to happen with the two adolescent boys who somehow have never met.

He kinda hit the jackpot meeting beth

14. They echo the Jayce/Rip relationship.

The kid brought in from a tragic loss of parents vs the heir.

This whole show is about fathers and sons though. Even Beth.

6. I wimped out early in the first episode

when it looked like a horse was going to be put down.

an animal being hurt and I clear the room. Admittedly, I am emotionally upset if animals are harmed. 😞
