He plowed my driveway and Im out of ideas. In the past Ive taken over 2 lbs of shrimp, homemade cookies, alcohol (a couple times) and a gas gift card.
He wont take money. In fact, I think the gas card embarrassed him. I was thinking he uses up gas to plow, so
Any fresh ideas? I appreciate him doing my driveway, unasked, and like to take over a little something in thanks.

(17,006 posts)You could tell him you really appreciate him doing the driveway for you and youd like to return the favor. Is there something he especially likes from the kitchen? If he says thats not necessary dont push. Hes doing your driveway because it feels good to give. Pay it forward. Donate to the local food bank, animal shelter etc.

But I substitute orange juice for the lemon juice to taste, and I omit the water.

Unless hes dieting, I think he would really enjoy homemade cookies or some type of cupcakes or loaf cake. Plus if he has a family he can share with them. Also I think it would mean more to him that you took the time to make something. Just my thoughts.
