(6,135 posts)I can't go to bed without them. I tried the socks, but they just warmed my instep, not my toes.

I also wear these really light comfortable thermal undies all winter.

(10,064 posts)I also wear socks to bed - year 'round - and around the house in summer when the A/C is running. In winter, I aim my little space heater at my feet when they get too cold while I'm sitting at my desk.

(16,829 posts)An hour after soaking in a hot bath, my feet are ice cold. I don't have poor circulation and I take iron. I also don't like wearing socks to bed... but I may have to change.

You stick it in the microwave for 3 minutes then put it in bed at your feet! Works great!

(24,782 posts)my longtime twice-divorced friend who, in her 60s, finally found true love!
It was her bedtime companion of many years - serving that most valuable of purposes that a human bed partner does!
Keeping her feet warm, that is.

(6,135 posts)Just pour some rice in it, knot the end and microwave for 20 seconds.

Yesterday I had blood drawn for DNA as I may have some form of familial amyloidosis.
Background
My father and brother along with me, all have late onset Peripheral Neuropathy or tingly cold feet and have lost a lot of feeling. We all have high arches and glaucoma.
So, it looks like we, my brother and I as dad died at 90 about 11 years ago, will be getting lots of test and may be looked at for the new CRISPR studies.
or we may not.
I now have trouble walking without tripping, but have no trouble running. Go figure.

Best of luck and you may want to see a neurologist.

(25,908 posts)Actually, it's possible my feet are cold all day but I don't notice it until I go to bed.
I use a heating pad to warm them.
I'll also say that I am comfortable at cooler temperatures than most people. Yes, I feel the cool, but I'm fine with it. But I do warm up my feet at night.

I_UndergroundPanther
(12,480 posts)If I wear shoes the minute I get home the shoes get taken off along with the socks. My feet run hot.
I hate when blankets trap my feet. When Im in bed the covers will be off my feet.
My favorite shoes are my crocs and my DocMartins. They are wider than most shoes and they breathe well.
