If using commercial ice cream, it would be coffee ice cream with chocolate syrup

(6,362 posts)Learned a great tip for adding the chocolate bits:
(Melt the chocolate with some coconut oil (prevents the chocolate from becoming rock hard) and slowly drizzle it into the churning ice cream. You'll get little ribbons of chocolate that harden immediately and then break up into smaller bits as you continue churning.)

(21,756 posts)One of his favorites was to freeze a tub of coolwhip, scoop it like ice cream, cover it with caramel and chocolate syrup and eat it... He loved it
Klondikes like that does sound good though, I'll have to try that some time.

(50,557 posts)I made this really lovely batch of vanilla ice cream batter. Before I put it in the freezer I added a pint of whole blueberries, on the theory theyd break against the beater and make a nice blueberry swirl.
They froze hard as a rock. I named it Blueberry Marble on grounds they were as hard as marbles.

He cuts up dried peaches or apricots into small bits, soaks in brandy , then spreads them out on a cookie sheet and freezes them. Then folds into the vanilla base. That stuff is killer.

The pisachio sounds good.
My daughter told me that Turkey Hill brand has Trioploitan now. They got triple vanilla for s-i-l's birthday.
