unreachable snowflakes at the window.
Each winter, the early snowfalls with big flakes hitting the window send her into a flurry of window activity, from one end of the window to the other, swatting them madly.
After a few weeks, she settles down and ignores them.
But the next year, it starts all over again with the first snowfalls. I guess she keeps hoping she can chase them away early, then gives up. Have to admit that I feel the same way. Initially I resist winter, then resign myself to it.
