What's the deal breaker when purchasing online?

It's wet here in winter. Every year or two I buy a really good pair of gumboots - Bogs, Otways, Muck, that I can't buy locally - and wear them practically daily for several months. Last year's boots were Muck boots and I loved them so in anticipation of winter (southern hemi.) went online to find a similar pair. My regular supplier in a city not too far away didn't have much of a selection.

But there was a new website - MuckbootsAustralia.com and they had what I wanted. This site wasn't online last year.
At the checkout, three things broke the deal for me:

-having to create an account
-telephone number required
-No Paypal

IMO this was more information than I wanted to give. Contrast with an appliance parts company in NSW, from whom I ordered an electric frypan control recently. Paypal welcome, option to purchase as a 'casual' user therefore no details required. They delievered in three days in the week between Xmas and New Year.

These boots were over $150; I sent them an email saying I'll spend my money with someone who respects my privacy.

What's the deal breaker for you?

available elsewhere or are brand new (reviews, etc); if they do not identify HOW items are shipped nor provide tracking information. The latter matters because I've had so many problems with On Trac that I'd refuse, if known.

I use Paypal if available. Its unavailability might not be a deal-breaker for me, depending on other factors. I never allow companies to save my payment details during registration, though. But on companies that I DO register with to purchase I use a random password generator, saving it in a password app I've used for years. So, if someone did get my log-in info, they'd get a password that isn't available anywhere else and since I don't allow for credit card details to be saved, the risk of something really bad happening is minimized.

When the shipping costs more than the item itself - and I've seen that - I go elsewhere.
