Peter Frampton: Return of The Phenix
Peter Frampton played the same single Gibson guitar, known as the “Phenix”, for nearly a decade until a cargo plane crash when it was thought to have burned in the crash. 30 years later the Phenix reappeared as was reunited with Peter. Journey with him as he tells the story of the guitar and works with the Gibson team to restore it once again.(DUer, progressoid, posted the NPR story in 2012.
