It'd probably be 35-50% more expensive in Malibu. I can't imagine was Geffen and Streisand (among others) would get if they put their houses on the market.

7. You can't own the beach in California.

It could be geographically situated so that the only access is by water, but the beach beyond the high tide line belongs to the public.
