1. Bobby Kennedy
2. Hubert Humphrey
3. Sargent Shriver
4. Richard Nixon
5. George Murphy
6. Ronald Reagan
7. Bill Clinton
8. Al Gore
9. Ted Kennedy
For those of you wondering about Nixon, Reagan and Murphy, they were all at a Nixon rally in, I believe, '68. The rally was near my home. Also at the rally were Burt Ward (yes, Robin of "Batman" fame), Tony Martin and Les Brown and His Band of Renown.
The only ones on the list I actually met were Bill Clinton and Al Gore. I was a volunteer for Bobby Kennedy, but never met him.

at UW Madison. Saw Feingold, too, of course.
Weird associated story. Went there with a guy who was also a member of my county Democratic Party, and 2 of hi late teenage sons. When we to to the metal detectors, one of the sons got pulled aide for having a hunting knife in his backpack. Claimed he forgot it was in there - .
I dont think he had any evil intent. He just wasnt very bright.

Hillary Clinton, my governors Scott and Shumlin, many local Politicians, Howard Dean, John McCain (as well as Sarah Palin but do I have to admit it??both of my daughters have run into her in their line of work and feel the same way) Bernie Sanders, many others just in passing when I worked security at the 2012 Democratic Convention and when I worked in D.C. (62,346 posts)for president in the past 30 years, except Trump.
Met and talked with Obama and Biden and both Clintons. Had a close friend who had a bed and breakfast where many of the candidates would stay overnight when they were in town.
My wife and I had about 15 minutes alone with Michelle Obama. She is even nicer in person than what we see. Like your next door neighbor.
Mitt Romney and John McCain were among the biggest jerks I ever met.
Met the Castro twins (Julian and Joaquin) and Julian on his own - really impressive.
From way back, I did meet Nelson Rockefeller - he was pretty short.
