(21,264 posts)1. I have 3 outdoor cats,
was able to catch 2 of them to take them to the vet. Vet said the one cat had feline leukemia, did I want to euthanize him so he wouldn't infect the other cat? I started asking him questions about how he would infect him and the #1 reason was through fighting, through blood transfer. I asked the Vet but what if they get along and he said they would probably be OK but it was my call. That was 4 years ago and both cats are doing just fine. The 3rd cat is way too feral to catch yet, I can get like 8 feet from him. They all have their own heated cat houses.
