The freezer still haunts my memories. There was mystery meat that was undoubtedly 20 years sold or older. I found frozen crawfish that stank on ice. He had bags full of dandelions that he refused to throw away. While distracted, I loaded my truck with obviously bad food for surreptitious disposal.

When we moved out of our old house, at the bottom of the chest freezer I found a forgotten turkey. It was only about five or six years old, but I didn't trust it. I ran water over it to thaw the surface so I could take the plastic wrapper off, then carried it into the bottom pasture and left it out there,

We saw a lot of vulture activity that afternoon. The next afternoon, I went out to see what was left. I found part of the pelvis, the metal clip that held the legs together, and shreds of the bag that had held the gizzards. Nothing else.

This was a fourteen pound turkey that would have taken days to thaw out in the refrigerator!

Showers. 🤭

Refrigerators 😱

Toilets 🤮

Pet clean up. 🤬

Multiply a hoarder’s apartment by a million

Which probably includes : living animals, dead animals, used toilet paper piled by the plugged toilet
Plugged kitchen sink covered in green slime,
Walls indescribable….. The smell is caustic.
