I was doing the morning tasks, the Kelly show in the background, and this voice started. I dropped threw the dishes down to see it. Despite that I'm a music type, I've never denied that I'm a "generalist" meaning "shallow" and saw Les Miserables once, like anything else don't get into the weeds about anything, if moved just move along.
I had no idea where this song came from, missed the introduction title, then when it was over scrambled to google the singer, with bits of lyrics. Imagine my surprise that the song is Javert's. The lyrics changed my whole outlook, how his "evil" came from total rigidity of righteousness.
But I digress. The point here is from the perfect voice and perfect melody.

I'm shallow, as I've said. I was even listening to the LYRICS, and I'm documented as saying that only MELODY matters, not lyrics. Funny, in teh Google somebody asked what Biblical verse "those who falter, those who fail" is from. The answer was: Victor HUGO - duh!1
