Maybe peek out from some bushes, or ambulate along a tree line, or walking through a field.

Follow that up with swarms of drones buzzing around their positions.

See how it affects their soldiers' morale.

4. They're already confused, skittish. Why not make them think they are marching into the Twilight Zone

If we can't physically fight them, we can freak them out.

These are largely young, conscripted, unsophisticated, unmotivated, poorly trained Russians in their army. The word has probably got around that Putin's strategy is to put the expendable rooks at the front of his assault. Then they see one of those big Boston Dynamic Robots with some phony weapon bolted onto it, have it "stealthily" walk by in view of them, and let them wonder about what they might be facing. Word would spread through the ranks quickly.

Then let the Blessed Virgin stroll through their campsites at night, begging them to love their brothers.
