you hit the nail on the head.
A!though I will say, Vikings was probably one of the best series ever made. In my opinion at least.
In their defense, there's only so much new history for them to cover on a 24/7 basis.

The brothers had a fixed set budget. Yes they had a scuba diver looking around in a mud puddle and that should have told me something. I thought maybe 6-10 shows but it could be interesting.

The show became the thing itself. It makes money and the brothers make (I could guess) money per episode so there’s no reason to end it.

Oak Island is a fascinating story.

That show had so much potential, and then went so far off the rails!!!!!!!

Way to squander oodles of talent and money on poor writing, plotting, and shit-canning actual history!
