My 50th class reunion is coming up

In 1972, the year 2022 seemed unimaginably far in the future. I was just thinking this morning how this future thing was all supposed to be about flying cars and silver jumpsuits rather than wars and diseases.

1. My 60th is this July, postponed from last year,

so it's actually the 61st. Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know in 1961.

But happiness still succeeds in overriding the sorrow most days.

People who didn't come to prior reunions will show up. Some of them will look pretty much the same, despite the years; others will require your looking at their name cards to figure out who they are. Have a beer or cocktail and join in the fun---this is the last time you'll see a lot of folks.

4. mine was in 2017

As the plans were being passed around, somebody threw in some positive comments about Trump.

In about 10 days the whole thing collapsed and as far as I know was never held.
