But they can be a handful, and very bossy. I had a peach-fronted conure (smaller than a sun conure) for years, and he thought he was king of the world, all few ounces of him.

In a lot of ways, parrots are like small winged toddlers equipped with Swiss army knives. Prepare accordingly, if you want to get one.
