Please help me locate these flags for a Battle of the Flags

Last edited Tue Mar 8, 2022, 06:46 PM - Edit history (1)

I admit that until recently I have paid little attention to the Flags of various countries. I knew only our own flag, of course, and the flags of Canada and the UK.

All of us now know the Ukrainian flag.

A neighbor who moved in across the hall from me about a year ago has had two identical criss-crossed flags on her door since moving in. I wondered what they were but since they are red, white, and blue, I thought they were meant to reflect the US colors.

I just discovered that they are the flag of effing Russia! A band of white on top, followed by a band of blue and then a band of red.

So I am looking for a US and a Ukranian flag of the same size to criss-cross on my door. The size is small, like a little child would carry.

EDIT UPDATE: I found that Wal-Mart carries both the US and Ukranian flags in the size I want.

Where can I get those flags in that size?

Amazon has them. Do a search for small Ukrainian flag. rsdsharp Mar 2022 #3
Yes Russia's flag consists of horizontal equal stripes of white, blue and red as you describe. Irish_Dem Mar 2022 #4

I am looking for, so I will keep searching.

The size I want is very small, to fit on an apartment door.

The cloth needs to be around 2 inches by 4 inches, with a 6 inch pole.

"Small international stick flags" or "flags on sticks"
I found the one below, but they're out of stock. You'll likely run into that a lot on Ukraine flags. It does appear that Amazon has some. Same search criteria, if you do Amazon. 😎

Wal-Mart and Amazon have both flags in 4 inch by 6 inch sizes.

I used "mini flags" in my search.

TFG's supporters holding mini-Russian flags emblazoned with his name? It was a great gag by two known political pranksters.

Photos also show a young man wearing a red shirt and a visor as he distributed the flags before Trump’s speech.

The culprit was identified as liberal activist Ryan Clayton, who told BuzzFeed News that he spoke with a fake Russian accent as he told CPAC attendees: “Trump and Putin great leaders, yes?”

An accomplice in the stunt, Jason Charter, said he and Clayton gave away about 1,000 flags.

“Most people saw Trump’s name on the flags and didn’t give a second thought to the fact that they were Russian,” Charter told BuzzFeed.

Both men are members of “Americans Take Action,” a self-styled “network of populists” whose Web site calls for Trump’s impeachment.
