Hello Again DU. It's Good to Be Back!

I would like to first say that I have been a lurker and member since 2001. I will be straight with you and say that I was banned back in the day. After that, I continued to read DU every day, and share articles and posts with friends and family members. DU is an amazing source of information and ammunition (against the GQP). I appreciate that!
I'll go back even farther than that to give you all some background as to how I came to DU. I posted for several years at Democrats.com. Nothing against them, but some people there posted articles from DU, so I checked out DU a little closer. I was amazed by the diversity of opinion, and quality writing, and it seemed much more fast-paced. Let me say, that it was humbling, and I was a bit intimidated by the intellects here, but I dipped in here and there.
Anyway, thank you for letting be be back, and I hope that it is ok that I posted this. I have missed you.

I voluntarily left before I was banned during the 2016 primary. Stayed away for a couple years, but DU's been my political family since 2004 and it really is the best political discussion site I've ever found.
