I know we all like to pretend all Americans are poor and one bad habit away from homelessness but the reality is for the majority of Americans this is more of a bitching point than an actual hardship.

Rent going up 30% year on year is a much bigger problem for the pocketbook than a few bucks extra a gallon for gas.

Not to mention education and healthcare costs.
