"I don't need no vaccine. I trust my immune system."

These are almost always the same people who come dashing to the clinic begging for antibiotics when all they have is just a mild viral sinus infection.

Kind of like the patients who tell me: "I have a high pain-tolerance" right before asking me for Percocet.

You haven't seen him around recently since vaccines have eliminated him.

In the old days, before the 1700s, people would trust their immune system to deal with Smallpox.They had no other choice.

By relying on their immune system, 30% of those infected died. The rest were literally scarred for life.
