Here is a tip for Wordle people:

When I am trying to get to the word, I will use X as a place holder. I'm a visual person and it really helps me "see" the word.

For example, let's say I have 3 of the 5 letters and I am not getting it right away. So it might look like this:

X A S X E = W A S T E

Maybe a lot of people do this, but I thought it might be helpful to someone.

Good tip. Took me a week or two to figure out that strategy. I love that it won’t accept “words” that aren’t words. Sometimes I try things and they’re rejected but once in awhile they’re correct.

I always start out by determining what vowels I’ll be working with by using the same two words, containing all the vowels, on the first two lines. Of course some consonants get eliminated on those two lines, but isolating the vowel(s) first has worked well for me.
