...southern CT. I'm amazed; thought all the momentum was in the other direction. Has this happened elsewhere? Is it just a short blip, or has something happened to break the cycle of increasing gas prices?

(115,280 posts)The reason is said to be the possibility that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates will boost oil production, and that demand from China could drop due to new coronavirus restrictions there. Prices at gas stations will drop as well as existing stock is used up.
