rub a piece of walnut meat over it

Putting a glob of mayonnaise on it for a couple hours works, restores the natural oils and restores color.

Its actually on the hardwood floor. I have been watering plants for my friend since shes in Florida and I guess something spilled I didnt wipe up. I would love to fix it before she gets back
