Always have. One trick I discovered, though it only works for old stuff, or at least not today - but on you tube you can find coverage posted from other countries. Find one in a language you can't understand. That way you can watch/hear the event - and the tone is not as affected and overexcited in other languages.

12. I've given up trying to watch the Olympics

Between NBC's annoying commentators and the timezone difference it's just too much.

I think the problem is this - the Olympics are too huge for one network to handle and should be divided up between several. And there should be a 'C-Span' like channel for the olympics where you can watch the olympics live as they happen with the minimal amount of commentators.
