Is (some) YouTube pressuring us with (sales?) interruption? Don't mean the skipped commercials.

In the past couple of weeks some videos, about 3 minutes from the end, have started playing a soft but distracting piano music over the narration. The music turns off about 30 seconds from the end. Can still hear what is being said, but the music is just loud enough to distract. Like when presenters are being "played off" the stage when time is up.

This has been happening with a small number of the videos, haven't pinpointed which subjects - not the history or news or gossip topics I frtequent, I think a bit of the movie celebrity ones.

It's the same, single toned (no chords) melody line, such that the video's spoken narrative can still be heard through it.

Are they wanting us to Subscribe or something?

I don't get close to the end of most videos I start--have never noticed what you describe.
