(13,895 posts)4. One of the IT guys at work gave me this tip. Use something familiar like a name or school
and spell it backwards and add some familiar numbers like your old phone number or year of birth.
You know the name and number so it will be hard to forget.. Just don't use a palindrome!!

The network admin and I at work used to change the server password monthly. Wed close our eyes, open a dictionary, and put our finger on a the page. Wherever it landed was the first word of the pass phrase. Did that 2 more times. I remember one - salty seashells garden. Just cant remember where the caps and special chars were - too many years ago )
