The s***show will play out for the next couple of days!

I'll differ about this, that a cheap joke about somebody's partnership at this type of event is over the line. So both ROCK and SMITH screwed up. What the comedians always claim that joking is joking doesn't work here.

Good thing that ROCK took it standing up and didn't take it further.

and they could hardly revoke it at the last minute. I think Cumberbatch should have got it; he was amazing in The Power of the Dog. But I didn't see King Richard so I guess I can't really compare them. Smith did go overboard, though, and his speech didn't do him any good.

They kind of butchered the song. I get that it’s not in the best format for a live performance, but, it wasn’t true enough to the original, imo.

They should have had the original cast sing the whole thing. I didn’t like how they turned part of it into rap and had people not related to the movie performing instead.

Kind of sucked. Anyone else feel the same?

Part of it IS rap, which made me wonder how well it would be done, since it’s so rapid fire, but Megan Thee Stallion changed it and I didn’t like that. Shiela E was great to see though!
