I just got done watching The Last Waltz (again), the documentary of the last concert

performed by The Band back in 1976. The documentary was released in 1978 and I
always enjoy how it takes me back.

1. Yup... I tend to watch it every Thanksgiving. Amazing array of performers and music.

Levon was at his best there, no doubt. (he was the only one whose lead pieces did not have to be redone in the studio and dubbed back into the final movie).

6. I had a chance to go to that concert.

A friend had a ticket and asked me to go. I wasn't much of a fan of The Band back then, so I passed. I had no idea who all would play at that show. Great movie and I've watched it a number of times.
