Are they missing a "cute-appreciating" gene--unable to experience the so-called "baby schema" (evolutionary release of oxytocin and dopamine shown to initiate loving behaviors toward helpless young babies and animals)?

That is all I can suggest. How sad for them. How sad for those around them.
