FedEx experience

FedEx said they delivered a package for me last Thursday. Texted me at the time that it was
“Hand delivered to receptionist at the front desk at 7:35 PM”.
That office, the office of my apartment building, closes at 5 PM.

I disputed the purchase and shipping charges on my AmEx card the following day, and AmEx credited my account immediately.

I guess the FedEx driver kept my package, thinking he/she got lucky?

Apparently it was not the regular FedEx with a regular FedEx truck but a contract person with a small white van, so I was told. They may or may not wear uniforms.

2. FedEx is horrible anymore. They lie lots about deliveries. Packages get lost in black holes.

The tracking system is horrible ... and on and on.

4. I had a similar experience wieth FedEx recently.

I bought some RAM sticks from Newegg (but a third-party seller on Newegg).

A few days later, FedEx tracking stated it was delivered, but no such thing in reality.

I called Newegg and stated the problem. They instantly credited my account.

Apparently, this is a common thing from the way customer service dealt with it.

5. I paid.fedex.for overnight delivery. It was.delivered two days later

7. FedEx is well known for sending ...

... "your package has been delivered" messages when your package has not been delivered.
Some companies who ship using them know this, and will tell customers to wait.

That said, your message was way more specific than anything I've ever heard from them.

8. Last thing delivered by FexEd to me was "Out for Delivery" for 2 weeks.

I ended up cancelling and getting a refund.
