Kitty likes a Ukrainian soldier (Original Post)

(14,615 posts)1. Ukrainian cats must be the most chill animals in the world.
I've seen tweet after tweet of cat owners carrying their pets in their arms, or rescuers carrying cats out, during a war. I've seen very few cats in carriers or on a leash/harness. They seem to be mostly carried out in the arms of a human.
If I tried to carry one of my house cats in my arms during a thunderstorm I would probably lose a finger or two.

The cats must know something unstable is around them.
