Seriously, was I supposed to keep the box?
Now I gotta look it up.

(13,665 posts)I've noticed the same issue with some OTC medications - you have to unfold/unpeel (?) the label in order to see the dosage and other info.

If it's on the bottle, get a magnifying glass or camera app on your phone.
Two 500 mg. every 6 hours,
Limit 6/day normally.
Mayo Clinic says 8/day.
The new rule is to "look it up on the internet"
At least, pages and PDF's are readable.
I get out the magic marker and mark the dosage on bottles and expiration dates on food packages.

(34,095 posts)write it on the bottles now. Apparently it is just too much to give you the info easily. Like everything else there is likely (but not understandable) a marketing reason for this. I hate storing things in their boxes so this is what I do with those that are too small to read and it looks like now it will be needed for most things. I keep masking tape and a marker for labeling food dates when I make batches. I think, perhaps, that would be a good idea for the medicine cabinet now as well.
