(7,275 posts)I want to use up as many letters without repeats, so i go for 1-2 vowel words. I want to find the best 4 words that do this.
I use 4 guesses just to get as many letters as possible on the board. Then have the remaining 5 guesses to figure out the words.

Ten unique letters that use all of the primary vowels plus five of the most common consonants.
I rarely need additional trial words and can start targeted guessing from there.
And it is easy for my addled brain to remember
