Anyone have rotator cuff surgery? I'm scheduled May 11

Pretty significant tear and the bicep tendons are fraying too.

It's my right arm, so I have a month to wear my sling around the house and try to learn how to function with my left hand. (like how TF do you WIPE?!?) lmao

I'm supposed to teach a ebening class at the college - Tuesdays for 6 weeks, starting ONE WEEK later! I sent them an email and asked if we can push the dates maybe. Otherwise, I guess I'm teaching in a brace!

yeesh... I sure hope this helps

Yes I also had a "massive tear" and bicep damage. kacekwl Mar 2022 #1
If you don't have a bidet, you can get a little travel job. It's just a specially designed squirt brewens Mar 2022 #2

Right arm luckily I'm left handed. Pain wasn't too bad but very uncomfortable especially when sleeping. I slept in my recliner for a couple of months. Do the therapy asap it does help. I'm about 7 months out and still don't have full movement and a little pain when I push it. Not a fun deal takes a long time to heal. God luck.

bottle. I used one for my hip surgery and liked it so much I installed a real bidet.

I'm having my right shoulder replaced May 5. Partly thanks to a football injury in 1978.

They tried steroids and it did nothing. I can barely move my left shoulder/arm. Putting clothes on for example is excrutiating. I am supposed to see my doctor again in two weeks and its likely I am headed for surgery.
