The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI think the signs are pointing to this being a good day
The boys were relatively well behaved all night and I got some quality snuggles from them this morning.
As I headed out with the feral's food bowls, Mittens the Kitten and Scooter were waiting by the door and started zig zag racing down the walk way, looking over their shoulders to make sure I haven't gotten lost.
A Cardinal started to serenade us and then a Woodpecker broke into 'applause' for this beautiful sky.
Best start to a day I've had in ages.

(31,086 posts)Was sitting on the couch and I felt a little bit of a breeze. I got up and looked and the door was ajar, sure enough Patches worked it open. Tiger was sitting on the deck looking curious and I looked over Patches was standing on the rail meowing at me. I went to pick him up he tried to fight and yelled at me and held onto the deck rail with his fingernails. We got back inside OK tiger had gone down. But he was out there this morning hes OK. Patches used to live out there I know he loves living in here but, you know, born free and all. I think he has gotten too big to squeeze through the railings like he used to do.

oh wait..there was that 10 minute stretch yesterday morn, beautiful.
Yard is still flooded in parts, really spongy in others. I got raised garden boxes to build, new beds to ready, clover to plant. Oh well
That is a beautiful sky! Thanks for the pic.
