Lying Dice? Anyone every play it?

Very popular bar game in China. You and your opponent get a cup and 6 dice.each You shake it and you check your hidden dice. You can have wild numbers. Say 3 is wild. So, you start.....

"I have 4-4s. If challenged - your oppoenent says _"OPEN!", the loser drinks. If not, the game continues.....oh yeah, you can use the dice in the opponents hand to count for your score. Then, shake and repeat....again.


Spent many fun hours playing this game, without using language in China.....flash fingers - 1st flash is total quantity and the 2nd flash is which number is on the dice. I lost a few, but I also won a lot.

The winner was the New Victor, until my buddy and I joined the guys, and the winner was Victoria Nouveau!

We played Aces were wild, unless you called them first, then they were just Aces.

2. You are right....1 could be called wild, or not.

Wild dice always added a bit of surprise to the game....great fun with folks that wanted to play the Guaylo in China. As always, best to get into the game before too many beers were consumed.
