I sometimes have to disable javascript to even copy text. Agree on screenshots. Have never failed for me.

Some spiteful javascript can be neutralized by a "reader" mode if your browser has one.

I just use the snipping tool, save it as an .jpg in my photo file and then use https://postimages.org/ to post.

You can usually copy the photo from another window, but first it must be saved (uploaded) onto an image storage website that provides that service. Many of the image storage sites are free, some charge a monthly or annual fee. Once the image has been stored on that storage site, they give you a link that allows you to share the photo on DU. It's the photo sharing link that we use for posting images on DU, not the photo itself, and not the image link on the original website.

Also, I don't know if this extra step can be done on a cellphone. The method I just described only works with a desktop or laptop computer - because you're doing the "right-clicking" and "left-clicking" to make it happen. Not sure if cellphone users have the ability to store and use photo links.
