It still blows my mind that people havent ever heard some of these songs.
On the other hand, I probably havent heard a lot of the 2000s/2010s music they grew up on?

I have come across "Reaction Videos" by youthful YouTube stars who have never heard some of the most basic, foundational works that have led music (or cinema) to the place it is today.

Twins Tim and Fred Williams listened to Dolly Parton's song "Jolene".
They liked the song, but had never heard of it before. Not sure if they even knew who Dolly Parton was.

I think it may have been a black music for black history month type deal. But anyway, they were taking requests from the chat and every song a classic for me and new to them. It was fun knowing what was coming and watching their faces when it hit. What a blast!
