(17,622 posts)..and i literally missed a lot of the trip because that book had me riveted. I am NOT a reader but that book..i could not put it down. Thank GOD trump wasnt in charge of anything when it came to the US.

(5,227 posts)And I was amazed how it predicted our experiences today. Too bad Rtump was in power when Covid started. Looks like medical science already knew what to expect, but he ignored it all.

(86,622 posts)He actively promoted the spread hoping it would kill enough of his opponents that hos stealing the election might be easier than he expected. It wasn't just him, it was every one of his disciples jockeying for position in his favor who plotted along with him. They intended for hundreds of thousands to die.
They dismantled the response team, confiscated and sold PPE and ventilators, tried to keep people from getting tested, promoted opposition to safety protocols... need I go on?
I'll have to read that book, sounds interesting and creepy all at once.
