On Saturday Julian performed Imagine for the Global Citizen's Stand Up For Ukraine Initiative. Ukraine reports that, so far, the Stand Up Initiative has raised a staggering USD 11 billion dollars.

(58,350 posts)and for raising money - I don't mean to detract from that at all. It's obviously an excellent cause.
But I heard the performance this morning, and now just watched this video again, and both times I thought, "He's trying way too hard." It's too earnest, or too much trying to be his dad (and not making it), or something.
I find it an irritating performance.
